Equity 102 (KIN002-e)

Description
Building on the concepts introduced in Equity 101, Equity 102 is a two-part live-virtual training designed to provide attendees with a deep understanding and practical application of equity terms and concepts. Developed by Kinnect in partnership with Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP), Equity 102 prepares attendees to engage in and navigate conversations about advancing equity work. During the training, attendees will have the opportunity to reflect on their own identities, consider how these personal aspects influence their work and interactions with others, and identify opportunities to implement the skills and concepts in real-world scenarios.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
By the end of this training, learners will be able to:

(1) Apply key equity terms and concepts to a variety of example scenarios
(2) Practice engaging in difficult conversations, increasing comfort and skill level
(3) Reflect on their own identities and how those identities influence and impact their work
(4) Identify ongoing learning areas and opportunities to practice these skills and concepts
